“I first got in touch with DeRose Method in 2004/2005 in Portugal. At the time I didn't know much about DeRose Method but soon realised how powerful and important it was. I stopped for a few years and only came back to it this year. Although it has been a while, my body and mind missed it. It is a very potent technique and I am glad I started doing it again. 

It is quite difficult to put into words why I like DeRose Method so much. I would argue that you need to see (experience) it for yourself, but I will try my best to express what is it like for me. First, and the most obvious, is the fact that it helps you to keep in shape, by making your muscles stronger and more flexible. Your body, each time you do it, becomes more use to the exercise so it feels natural. Also it is very good for your mind and not only because your body is healthy - it is also because we practise meditation. I, a restless mind, find meditation one of the best things to help me have a better concentration and feel calmer.

Personally I like it because it makes sense - it is not only a type of workout, it can also be a philosophy of life. It makes sense to me and so far I only meet nice people that teach and 

practice this way of life, so I am happy when I go to DeRose Method classes.  So not only you are good to your body and mind, but you do it in a healthy and warm environment.”
